Zenni Optical Promo Code and Coupon Code Updated 2015

If you haven’t heard of Zenni Optical, you are missing out! Recently I went to a local Vision Works to order new glasses, yes with a coupon in hand. Vision Works will not let you use coupons alongside your insurance. To upgrade the lens in the pair I was ordering it was going to cost $188 for the ones that would be not just anti scratch & anti-glare, but the ones that resist finger prints (oleophobic). That was with my vision insurance! I opted to just order the ones my insurance covered & received the pair for free, with the cheap lenses that if you even think about touching near them they all of a sudden have a big smudge on them.
A friend had recommended Zenni Optical to me after she had ordered several pairs for her & her children. I was able to order 2 pairs of glasses with better lenses in them, without using my insurance & paid under $50 with shipping! They have frames that start at $5.95! – no promo code needed. Not $100 or more for the frames! You can browse through a wide selection to find the ones you like the best. If you have glasses you already like, you can use them as a guide. They have measurements for every frame they have and you can even refine your search by those measurements. If you opt to measure yours measure them in mm, if you have a normal US ruler it is in cm’s so just multiple it by 10 to get mm. You can find measurements for the bridge (the part that sits on your nose), the lens width, the frame width (which is everything from one side of the frame to the other including both lenses & the bridge), the temple length, lens height, and even the frame weight.
Zenni Optical even has it where you can read reviews from others that have bought the glasses you are looking at. You can break down their selection of frames by who they are for (men, women, and kids), what type of frame ( full rim plastic, full rim metal, full rim mixed materials, half rim with all materials, rimless, sunglasses, sports & goggles), and even by shape of the frame! They sell frames for single vision glasses, bifocals, and progressive glasses. You can upload a photo of yourself to “try on” the glasses directly on their page. I found it useful to measure my favorite glasses & find similar ones.
It is simple to order from Zenni & the prices cannot be beat. You will need your glasses prescription to order them (just type in the info, you don’t need a scanned copy or anything). Find the frames you want to order, then click “order glasses”. Then you will need to select your RX type (single vision, bifocals, progressive, non RX, or no lenses). Put in your RX as it is written by your optometrist.
It will then ask you what your Pupillary Distance is (PD), which is the measurement of the space between your pupils. (Every wonder what they are doing when they ask you to look into those binocular like things when you are ordering them from the store? The clerk looks from the other side, goes “hhmmmmm” as they fiddle with something. That is them measuring your PD.) It is simple to do, just take the measuring stick you used to measure your frames earlier & measure from the center of each pupil to the other. It will be in mm as well. Once you have ordered from them they will send you a device that makes it simple to find your PD in the mirror. Next you will choose which type of lens & if you want a tent. They will give you a recommendation on which type of lenses to choose, such as standard single vision, mid index single vision, trivex single vision, polycarbonate single vision, & high index single vision. The 1.50 standard single vision & the 1.57 mid index single vision are both free. You can turn ANY frames into sunglasses! Under where you pick which lens you can opt for no lens tent or a standard lens tent – such as grey, green, amber, blue, pink, purple, and yellow. If you opt for a standard lens tint it is just $4.95! Or under that you can opt for polarized and photochromic lens tenting (pricing varies).
Next you move onto lens coating. For a standard anti-reflective coating it is just $4.95! For the Super Hydrophobic (water resistant) & easy to clean antireflective coating it is just $8.95. While the oleophobic (oil & finger print resistant) premium antireflective coating is just $14.95!! On that same page you can choose accessories, such as polarized or gradient clip on’s for your frames for just $3.95 each! Then you are ready to add them to your cart! I have never found clip on’s for glasses under $15 (and I thought that was a good deal)!
Before you order make a free account with them, you can save your RX on there to keep rom putting it in manually each time. Plus, you can sign in to check on your order. You should also sign up for their email list! They will send emails with promo codes that last for 24 hours or let you know about new frames! The good thing is standard shipping is just $4.95. No coupon code necessary. Every pair of glasses they ship comes with a protective case and a microfiber cleaning cloth. Ordering glasses through Zenni can save you major money over ordering glasses from retail stores.
A gift card is always a welcome treat. It is delivered directly to your recipients inbox with a gift message. This is a personalized option that can be enjoyed all year around.  Zenni Optical promo code 50%. No promo code needed to entry.
